Hand tools that are poorly made can often break, chip, or bend at the worse moment. If this happens, you'll only get scraped knuckles, right? Wrong.
What if the cheap tool damages the part you are working on, your interior, your glass, your paint...? What if the tool or a chip off the tool make contact with moving parts or machinery? Makes you cringe just to think about it, huh?
Be sure to keep your hand tools clean when you are not using them. It's much easier to notice damage if it is not covered by grim and grit.
Use the right tool for the job. If the job calls for pliers, use pliers and not a stick of dynamite. Make sure all of your sharp tools stay sharp.
